Surface water is water collected on the ground
(Different forms of surface water are streams,rivers, lakes, glaciers and oceans).
Lakes are large bodies of water surrounded by water.

Streams are very small rivers:


Glaciers are areas of moving ice.

Oceans are huge areas of salt water.
The five oceans are: the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, The Indian Ocean, the Arctic Ocean and the Southern Ocean.
